British Beer Cities' Inaugural Forum

A one-and-a-half day meeting commencing with an "inform-ale" evening reception & beer buffet supper was held on Monday 8 October; and the Forum itself with keynote
addresses by heads of tourism & pub and beer organisations; presentations by beer city organisers; and a plenary panel with the British Guild of Beer Writers on Tuesday 9 October.
The Forum was the first of its kind in the UK, (and, as far as we know, in the world) and the first time that beer city organisers had an opportunity to get together to share experiences and promote best practice. It was attended by delegates from all corners of the UK and the Republic of Ireland and was a most informative and engaging event.
